Pennsylvania Woman Convicted for Embezzling $1.86 Million
Former EnerSys employee Sheila K. Jameson, 55, was sentenced in U.S. District Court to four years in federal prison for embezzling $1.86 million from an industrial battery company in a fraudulent shipping scheme. Jameson, set up a phony company that was paid for 284 fraudulent shipping invoices from 2000 to 2011, federal officials said. Jameson was ordered to serve three years of probation, pay $1.86 million in restitution and $250,000 to the Internal Revenue Service. Jameson pleaded guilty to mail fraud and income tax evasion.
